"There were about eight or nine issues" James recalls, "with half as many name
changes; for example, The Comet, Satellite, etc. -
but, unfortunately, as the majority of them were produced on
Banda, after 40 odd years this has rendered what were originally
psychedelically multicoloured pages into virtually invisible
ink.
We didn't have the use of photocopiers then!
"But a few
pages have survived; although a bit Milliganesque they are hardly great literary efforts
(I tended to write over two thirds of them)." |
